Lunch Donation

For this project we served Bibimbap on a donation basis.

Our English Ministry’s cooking extraordinaire, Christine, helped us out tremendously for this project. She designed what kind of Bibimbap we’d be serving and picked out all the ingredients. We also had a handful of English Ministry members help prepare the day before from 3-6pm.

Although Christine is amazing in the kitchen and has helped out with serving large groups of people, Pastor and his wife, Socci, were really worried about this little project. Usually the Korean Ministry is in charge of feeding our 500-member congregation. In other words, this was the first time that the English Ministry was taking on this responsibility!

So we prayed!

We prayed that we would not be stressed out and that we would have enough food.

Thank God that He is a God who hears our prayers! The kitchen was pretty hectic but we had so much fun serving our church and there was just enough food. Altogether, the donations brought in a net profit of $1,220. Praise the Lord!
